This table is fitted as standard with World Famous Strachan 'West of England' pool cloth which has been made in Gloucester since 1890. Strachan English pool cloth is regarded around the world as the leading brand in its sector.

For over 30 years, the only cloth used in the World Snooker Championships has been made by Strachan, which speaks volumes for the quality.

The cloth fitted on your table will be Strachan 777 pool cloth which, is a high-grade, fast, league quality pool cloth. It is renowned for its great balance of speed, durability and all-round performance.

Premium Range of Cloth Colours

As well as the standard range of cloth colours we can also offer an extensive range of premium colours if you are looking to match your décor or just simply make your table stand out from the crowd.

This range of cloth is produced by Hainsworth who are renowned throughout the cue sports industry for high-quality cloth. Smart cloth is an excellent performing woollen pool cloth that is hard-wearing and has a fast napped surface to ensure a superb game.

Speed Cloth

We can provide your table with speed cloth if that is your prefered choice. Speed cloth is a napless cloth that provides an extremely fast game. This type of baize is generally found on the larger American style tables. The majority of UK pub tables are fitted with a traditional wool cloth. If you would prefer a Speed cloth, then please email or call after you have placed your order to advise.

Speed cloth is the choice of baize used on the IPA pool tour. This cloth is the Simonis 861 Powder Blue cloth. If you require this cloth, please select when ordering.

Required Room Size

A Good rule of thumb is to allow for a minimum of 4ft space all around the table for optimum playing comfort.

So for instance a 7ft x 4ft table would have 4ft either end of the long side of the table making 15ft ( 7ft table length + 4ft + 4ft ) and the same on the width making 12ft ( 4ft table width + 4ft + 4ft ). Please see our recommended guide below.

If you are tight for space then don't panic because we have shorter cues at 36" 42" and 48" for the shot when the ball is tight on the cushion.

Both the 6ft and 7ft tables are classed as league tables although most leagues prefer to play on a 7ft table if space permits. Either way both tables provide a great game so don't try and squeeze a 7ft in if it is going to be uncomfortable when playing.

It is important to check the size of the room to see if your intended table will fit. If a table is too large for the room you may not enjoy playing on it. A good idea is to draw a plan of the room and measure it at the nearest points to where your table is intended to stand. Do not measure into bay windows or to the recesses of a fireplace. All large furniture should be outside the measurements.

Finally if your table has to go upstairs we will require photos or a video to ensure access is possible. We rarely have a failed install but if there are any impossible turns or bad access then we can always supply a kit form table and built it up in your premises. There is an extra charge for this service but it will ensure that the table goes in safely and without damage.

We know once you have made a decision to order your pool table you want it as quickly as possible and with some tables there can be significant lead times which can be frustrating.

Well here is the answer – choose one of our quick delivery pool tables and we can be with you within the specified fast delivery lead-times.

Tables in this section are either in stock or due in stock any day so although we promise the quoted lead-times - we may be able to deliver a bit sooner depending on your location and the availability of our fitters.

If you want a specific table not in the fast delivery section we will deliver as per the lead times displayed on the website.

“Fast Delivery” Terms and Conditions

We aim to deliver the pool tables in the “fast delivery” section within the quoted time scale.

This is subject to the customer being able to accept the pool table at relatively short notice. We will give at least 2-3 days notice and endeavour to give up to 7 days if possible.

The customer must ensure good access for the table which will be delivered in three parts, the cabinet, the slate and the legs.

Delivery will be made by two qualified fitters and will be assembled in your room of choice. If delivery only is required the table shall be left in a ground floor room for your own assembly.
