Aramith Black is the latest top of the range Tournament set produced by the World's finest ball manufacturer. This stunning ball set is 2-1/4 inch in size and is designed for American pool tables.

This is the TV version produced for events such as the Mosconi Cup. Aramith Black is produced for the serious player who requires the finest balls.

We are an official Aramith importer and buy all sets directly from the factory in Belgium. These balls come in a sealed box and certainly don't disappoint.

We carry good stock levels and deliver within 1-2 working days from order. Please note that these are American-sized balls and are incompatible with UK-style pool tables that require a 2-inch ball size.

Duramith Technology

The Aramith Tournament set features the Duramith technology with its hi-tech engineered molecular structure, drastically enhancing the longevity of the balls while significantly minimizing table cloth wear. With a lifetime exceeding 8 times that of the average polyester and phenol-like resins, reaching easily up to 40 years in residential use, Aramith ball sets are the logical choice for both the trade and the player.

Duramith: the new benchmark

With the Duramith Technology, the Aramith resins entered their 4th generation. With a totally overhauled resin formulation with new hi-tech reticulation, cross-linking and curing technologies, the Aramith products now set a new benchmark in quality, durability & longevity, increasing their service life up to 50%, during which:

• their through-hardened vitrified surface and core holds their glossy look
• their specifications, rebound and playing consistency throughout the set are maintained all along
• the cloth wear and white marks that so easily ruin the look of the table are minimized
• Their friction resistance minimizes burn spots as well.

Saluc, who manufactures Aramith balls, have produced this new ball set in partnership with Matchroom sports - Matchroom and SALUC have a long-standing relationship dating back to the 1990s. Over this time, Aramith Pro-Cup balls have become the industry standard. Earlier this year, Matchroom and SALUC agreed to a three-year extension of their current partnership. They began working together to create the ‘Tournament Black’ set, which will be used at this year’s Mosconi Cup and all future Matchroom Pool events, including the 2020 US Open 9-Ball Championship.
