American Pool - THE 2013 GB9 MIDLANDS CLASSIC

American Pool Report - This week, we will see the return of the GB9 American Pool Tour.

The first event of the UK's professional American pool tour will be held over three days at the Park Inn by the Radisson Telford Hotel in Shropshire.

We see the return of the 9-ball Tour and welcome back our good friend and great character, Dave Knight.

Pro 9 - The Pro Shop.

Big Dave owns the superb website, www.pro9.co.uk (The Pro Shop), and is one of the most knowledgeable people connected to the game.

The Pro Shop is touring and sponsoring the Professional GB9 Tour and the Amateur Total 9 Ball Tour.

The pro shop has exclusive shop concessions for the GB9 events, and we know that Big Dave is delighted to be back with the Tour.

The event itself should be a cracker. With a prize fund of £14,700, it has undoubtedly attracted some big names.

This Midlands classic has brought out all the big guns. Players attending include Germany's Ralf Souquet, Italy's Fabio Petroni and Bruno Muratore, Chris Melling, Karl Boyes, Kelly Fisher, Mark Gray, Mick Hill, Tommy Donlon, Tony Drago, and many, many more!

If you have never been to a pool tournament, then you really should try to make this one. It will be great pool played on excellent tables by top players.

The game of American Pool is fast, furious and full of excitement. GB9 tour events are a great day out, and we highly recommend going along to support the Tournament.
