DPT Omega Pro White Coin Operated Slate Bed Pool Table

The Omega Pro Coin Operated pool table is a robust, hardwearing pub pool table. This popular model is UK made and ideal for commercial venues looking to maximise revenue. This table includes free delivery and accessories. We can also offer a two-person installation service if required.

Omega Pro is available in either a 6ft or 7ft size model at no extra cost. This table can be found in thousands of bars throughout the UK. It is reliable and hard-wearing and guarantees lots of play.

Omega Pro has a slate bed playing surface, high-end table cloth, professional cushion rubber and a choice of two table mechanisms. It is produced from MDF and finished in a high-pressure laminate covering. The durability of this table will add years of play and ensure fewer services.

This favourite pool table comes with two mechanism options. You can choose from the popular mechanical mechanism or the battery-powered electronic mech. Details of these are below.

As well as a White cabinet this model is available in Onyx Grey, Grey Oak and Black finishes.

Pool Table Mechanisms.

Mechanical: You insert the correct money into the slot and push the mech to release the balls. The money then falls into the coin box inside the table. However, it does require the correct coin configuration, so if you have it set to £1 per play, you can only insert a £1 coin to play a game. You cannot use multiple coins such as two 50 pence pieces and so on.

Electronic: You can easily set the play price by altering the dip switches on the electronic board inside the table. It also allows you to use a multi-variation of coins. In other words, if you have the price of play set to £1, you can use 2 x 50p or 10 x 10p and so on. This type of mechanism offers customers more options but requires more maintenance, including battery changes.

Pool Table Warranty

The Omega Pro does include a 12-month guarantee. This is on manufactured parts but does not include the cloth or the coin mechanism as these are both subject to wear and tear. Also, the battery on the Electronic tables is not under warranty.

Coin tables require servicing and maintenance, particularly if they are located in a popular site. We recommend finding a local servicing engineer to call on in such cases. We do not offer service calls on tables, which would be your responsibility.

This table is fitted as standard with World Famous Strachan 'West of England' pool cloth which has been made in Gloucester since 1890. Strachan English pool cloth is regarded around the world as the leading brand in its sector.

For over 30 years, the only cloth used in the World Snooker Championships has been made by Strachan, which speaks volumes for the quality.

The cloth fitted on your table will be Strachan 777 pool cloth which, is a high-grade, fast, league quality pool cloth. It is renowned for its great balance of speed, durability and all-round performance.

Premium Range of Cloth Colours

As well as the standard range of cloth colours we can also offer an extensive range of premium colours if you are looking to match your décor or just simply make your table stand out from the crowd.

This range of cloth is produced by Hainsworth who are renowned throughout the cue sports industry for high-quality cloth. Smart cloth is an excellent performing woollen pool cloth that is hard-wearing and has a fast napped surface to ensure a superb game.

Speed Cloth

We can provide your table with speed cloth if that is your prefered choice. Speed cloth is a napless cloth that provides an extremely fast game. This type of baize is generally found on the larger American style tables. The majority of UK pub tables are fitted with a traditional wool cloth. If you would prefer a Speed cloth, then please email or call after you have placed your order to advise.

Speed cloth is the choice of baize used on the IPA pool tour. This cloth is the Simonis 861 Powder Blue cloth. If you require this cloth, please select when ordering.

Required Room Size

A Good rule of thumb is to allow for a minimum of 4ft space all around the table for optimum playing comfort.

So for instance a 7ft x 4ft table would have 4ft either end of the long side of the table making 15ft ( 7ft table length + 4ft + 4ft ) and the same on the width making 12ft ( 4ft table width + 4ft + 4ft ). Please see our recommended guide below.

If you are tight for space then don't panic because we have shorter cues at 36" 42" and 48" for the shot when the ball is tight on the cushion.

Both the 6ft and 7ft tables are classed as league tables although most leagues prefer to play on a 7ft table if space permits. Either way both tables provide a great game so don't try and squeeze a 7ft in if it is going to be uncomfortable when playing.

It is important to check the size of the room to see if your intended table will fit. If a table is too large for the room you may not enjoy playing on it. A good idea is to draw a plan of the room and measure it at the nearest points to where your table is intended to stand. Do not measure into bay windows or to the recesses of a fireplace. All large furniture should be outside the measurements.

Finally if your table has to go upstairs we will require photos or a video to ensure access is possible. We rarely have a failed install but if there are any impossible turns or bad access then we can always supply a kit form table and built it up in your premises. There is an extra charge for this service but it will ensure that the table goes in safely and without damage.

Delivery & Installation

We deliver Pool Tables and Accessories throughout the UK and Europe. UK deliveries are carried out exclusively by our two-man team which gives us flexibility on delivery and timings.

The delivery lead time on this table is approximately 20-22 weeks. We can sometimes surprise and install a little quicker if we have stock or can get the table sooner from the manufacturers. We are located in close proximity to all the suppliers which allows us to collect your table quickly as it comes off the production line. Many of our competitors are located further afield and wait for several tables to be ready before making their collection. So for speedy delivery we have the edge.

Please note we would require onsite parking for a transit van on the day of delivery. Installations can take around 1 hour to complete.

Two options are available when it comes to delivery.

Delivery Only

We will deliver your pool table door to door and to the ground floor room of your choice absolutely free of charge. Tables are usually supplied in 3 parts. The legs, slate and cabinet are all separate and would require assembly. Please bear in mind however that most slate bed pool tables weigh 200kg+ and you would require adequate numbers of people to safely handle the table. Installation would be at your own risk

Delivery with Installation

We do however strongly recommend that you take up the offer of our professional delivery and installation service at the extra cost of £95 Inc. VAT which includes full installation, table positioning, levelling, after-sales care instruction and a bonus pack of extra accessories that is worth up to £70. Slate bed pool tables can weigh up to 250 kgs (550lbs) and moving and handling them takes knowledge and expertise.

Our two-man team of professional fitters can take away the strain, worry and hard work and leave your table perfect and ready to play.

Basement and Upper floor delivery and installations incur a surcharge of £60. Delivery to more remote areas of the country including Cornwall and the North of Scotland are subject to a delivery surcharge. Please contact us for more details.
